Be Happy! Why Worry?
Worry is a silent killer. It is like a slow poison. It is a chronic illness. In fact, it is an illness which is many fold dreadful than the physical illnesses. Worry not only affects our body but our mind too.
If you think seriously, you would find that it is really no use worrying about anything. It is really foolish to worry about past or future. Nobody can change the past. Whatever has happened has happened. Why worry? How can something that has yet not come to pass affect us? How are we so certain that the future is so bleak? Things may turn out well.
Why worry then? Worrying just tires us and diminishes our capacity of clear thinking and planning. It promotes negative thinking. Instead of worrying we should use positive affirmations and resolutions.
If worry could solve the problem, everybody would worry as much as possible. Problem solving requires clear thinking and planning. But worry makes us incapable of clear thinking and planning. Many things, if they are going to happen, will happen regardless of our worry. If it is going to rain, it will.
We worry for small things. The worst-case scenario may not even be bad enough to worry. You have made your boss angry. You worry that he may fire you. What of it? That is not the end of the world. You are still alive. Perhaps you would get a better job. You dread to go to the office next day. You think of sending in your resignation letter. Worrying you reach office. The boss calls you. He apologizes. It was his mistake!
Not only we should not worry about little things, but we should also not worry about seemingly big things. The things that seem today very big and important will seem trifle tomorrow. In your student life you must have worried for days about the wrong answer you gave, even though you knew the right answer, to an objective type of question carrying just half mark. How much you worried about a dress on a special occasion, meeting a boy or girl whom you fancied, or the change of residence of a friend’s family? Do these matter a bit today? Why worry about spilled milk, or a broken glass, or a missed bus?
Of course, no body worries for the sake of worrying. Worry just comes into mind and then never leaves. But many people never worry. It seems that worrying is a sort of bad habit. As all bad habits the habit of worrying is also difficult to get rid of. So, in the first instance, never make worrying a habit. Secondly, try to divert your mind. Think of positive things. Get busy with some physical activity. Keep yourself away from people who are habitually worrying type and who always see the negative side of a thing.
Instead of useless worrying, one should take positive action — BE HAPPY!

Back Up Plans
Back Up Plans
When you have a goal or desire that is important to you, do you ever go into mental overdrive before you see the results? I know I have. I know my coaching and teleclass clients do.
You can go into overdrive in several ways:
Think about every scenario possible that could go wrong.
Think about solutions for every scenario that could go wrong.
Anxiety strikes, and when your head hits the pillow at night you have one-sentence mental loops like, “I’m not going to have enough money. I’m not going to have enough money.”
Waver back and forth between two or three plans of attack to manifest your goal.
Stew on the fact that you don’t know how to get the desire. You feel unclear and create anxiety on “being stuck” or not knowing the next steps.
Finally you create a plan for what you’ll do as a worst-case back up. Now you’re just flat out worn down and feel mentally beaten up.
If your back up plan doesn’t feel good, don’t count on it. Use a back up plan to soothe you, knowing you at least have a plan. Then make another decision. Make a plan, an intention, for the way you’d like to have it happen.
I have a perfect example of this. I had a rather large expense that I hadn’t planned. The cash was not available, and the due date was looming. I say looming because I had begun to feel tension about not knowing how I was going to pay for it.
My mind searched for the worst-case scenario back up plan. The best I could come up with was to put it on a charge card. I checked in with how it felt. Not ideal, but hey, it’s a worst-case back up plan.
I let the back up plan take away my tension. Then I made the real plan: Attract new cash. Well, there was really no plan for how to do that. I just decided it would be so.
I checked in with my inner guidance and kept receiving the message that the money would arrive. I was going on pure trust because I was seeing no evidence that any new substantial amounts of money were coming to me.
Then the “how’s” began to arrive. I called the company to which I owed the money and asked if they could give me another week. The answer was yes. Cool.
Then I began to take a stand for the value that I bring to my current and future clients. I began speaking differently to inquiries about business. It wasn’t what I was saying but who I was being. It was a not a conscious effort. It just happened. The result was more than enough money.
Two days later the money I needed for the expense showed up- and so much more. The back-up plan was long forgotten by then. If you don’t have a plan, make a decision. Your best case plan will unfold.

Law Of Attraction Technique: Retraining The Worry Mind
Everything is going on along perfectly fine and then that thought creeps into your mind: “What if something happens so that everything isn’t as good?” Then your worry-mind takes over and decides that it is going to give you a full account of the worst case scenarios for any and everything.
There are times when you can get it to stop but there are other times when it is as if the mind wants you to only think about what ‘could’ happen in a negative way. What can you do about this all consuming pastime?
Everyone at some time or other worries about their life and others lives. Can this habit be stopped and what is the purpose of worrying? Worrying can bring about some good results. Sometimes in searching for answers we find it and it can actually cause us to bring solutions to the table. But it is when worry goes nowhere and we habitually let it take over is when it becomes a problem.
Remember that your worries are not truths. They are lies. A worry doesn’t mean it is going to happen. We worry in hopes of anticipating what could happen so that we can protect ourselves when that negative experience is staring us in the face. But do you realize that by focusing on the negative over and over, it causes the Law of Attraction to spring into action (it’s always in action) and bring to you what you focus on? Anticipating the worst builds a vibration of energy within you that signals the Universe you want more of that. Do you really want more worry and grief?
Instead of anticipating the worst, can you assume the best? Instead of taking a situation and playing it all the way to the end with a worst case scenario you can instead choose to play it out as a best case scenario. That best case scenario can happen just as easily as the worst case, and the best case vibration will bring you answers in the form of the best for all concerned.
This technique will help you to guide your logical mind to seeing positive options. By replacing the positive with the negative you will begin to change your way of thinking and your own life. Any time you try to get rid of a negative mental habit you must replace it with something. And replacing it with something positive will ensure a more positive life. By saying, “I’m not going to worry any more,” without putting anything in its place, will cause the logical mind to go back to what it is comfortable with.
Another technique is to find one spot that you can worry in.
What you are doing is retraining your mind that you are the one in control here. You get to tell it when it can worry. Don’t cut it off from worrying because that only brings up more struggles within your mind. Just decide on a place where you can worry and give yourself ten minutes there to express all the worry you need. But once the ten minutes is up, no more worrying.
If a worry appears in your mind tell yourself, “Not now. Only in our worry spot,” and then keep on going about your day. Gently bring the mind back to where you want it to be. Offer it distractions if too much time is spent on worrying. Take a walk, read a book, find something that you enjoy and shift your focus. This can interrupt the worry cycle and, again, you are retraining your mind to focus on the more productive, positive things in life.
Do you believe in the Universe and do you trust that no matter what, the Universe is taking care of you? When you are able to realize this, and know that no matter what you experience, that in the end it is all well and good, you will never be disappointed because there is a higher power that is making sure all is well. Worry can then be set aside.
Envision how you want your life to be and then let the Universe take care of you, knowing and expecting that it will. These are just a few things that can curb the worry habit. By making an effort to change a few thoughts you can have the life that you ask for without excessive worry.
