Enlightenment – A state of Bliss
Enlightenment – A single word which can give path to Human beings who are searching for true happiness. Every human being has their own thought process and likings. They are bound in their own environment and feel themselves as an individual and thus become busy in fulfilling their own desires. Once they achieve one dream, they start dreaming of something else. The ultimate goal of every desire is to get happiness. But fulfillment of one desire does not give them the ultimate happiness and then they start working on other. They search for true happiness in their surrounding and forget to look for it inside him.
Enlightenment is realization of oneself. It is self – actualization stage. It means to free oneself from the illusions of the world and to know the real reason why one has taken birth. Enlightenment is that achievement after which human being don’t crave for more happiness. They come to know that the thing for which they are fighting with this universe is within him only. They realize that they are part of this universe. One cannot remain happy by hurting a part of him. Enlightenment is a state of oneself with this universe, it is a state where people forget their selfishness and have a more holistic approach.
Enlightenment is a light which removes all the darkness of illusions surrounding a man. Illusion is something which is not real and does not exist. It is a state of darkness which separates one from the light of enlightenment. People have the illusion that by pampering their body and loved ones can give them true happiness. Fact is that the happiness which they get from this is temporary. By taking the path of selfishness, people get deviated from the right path – a path which can take to the state of bliss where they can get true happiness.
Enlightenment shows us the true path. It is an art of finding God within oneself and God is never partial to anyone. Enlightenment is the stage when one is fully satisfied and don’t want anything else.
Dalai Lama and Howard Cutler published a book named “Art of Happiness” in 1998. Howard Cutler was an American psychiatrist. This book talks a lot about how to get never lasting happiness. It says that happiness is something which all men are working for but he forgets that no situation can give him happiness unless and until he removes all the negative feelings inside him. True happiness is that which comes from within. The outer surrounding however nice cannot give long lasting happiness. The materialistic achievements cannot give happiness at par with mental achievements. We have to be compassionate and kind to everyone. Positive attitude, compassion, kindness, goodness and forgiveness are the only ways which can give mental satisfaction to a person. These are repellent for removing hatred and negative feelings. Spiritual approach towards life can only help in gaining enlightenment i.e. true happiness. The book Art of happiness is full of motivation for adopting positive attitude and spirituality in life.

Do Not Worry Be Happy Now, Tomorrow Is Not Promised
Are you still waiting for your situations to turn around before you
will allow yourself to be happy?
Most people have an idea, or vision of what it means to be happy, and will not
allow ourselves to be happy, until those things materialize.
The problem is that even when we accomplish small goals, we are rarely satisfied with them!
Instead, we all start refocusing on something bigger and better, thinking the next
goal is going to be the icing on the cake. However better or happier it may make us feel
at the moment, we still never let ourselves reach a point of contentment.
Has this happened to you before in the past?
Well, make a decision to be happy now!
Even if everything in your life is not completely perfect.
Here are a few tips to make that happen.
1)Be grateful, being grateful is one our most powerful state of mind and
makes you feel good.
It makes you remember what you do have, and keeps it there!
As you think more about the things that you do have, and other situations that you
hear others are in, you focus less on what you do not have.
This will leave you felling more happy.
2)Take time to smell the roses and relax!
If you are constantly rushing through your days and leave little time for life’s little joys,
then it is hard to feel happy and content.
To get a sense of true happiness, take time to relax, dream, set small goals
and enjoy simple moments.
Spend time doing things you love on a regular basis, starting right away!
Read books to trigger your imagination, take walks, listen to music and truly make an
effort to enjoy your life as it is now!
3)Enjoy the journey.
Do not pin all of your expectations on some long term results, such as completion
of your life goals.
Some of us believe that when we reach our goals, we will be truly happy
and life will be perfect. But there is much to be gained in your journey to
that final destination. Revel in every moment that you are working towards
completing your higher goals.
Enjoy the sense of duty and self mastery you gain with every accomplished goal, even the small ones.
The most important factor to remember about happiness is that it is hugely a decision
you make from moment to moment, day by day.
Certain events make it difficult to feel happy at times,
but more to often, we allow little things to trouble us and
block any happiness we would otherwise feel.
Welcome happiness and it will help attract even more life enhancing events
and moments into your life!

People derive happiness from a myriad of sources. A particular incident may be of little significance for you, but it can bring an abundant amount of joy and ecstasy for others. It is really difficult to define happiness as different individuals interpret the meaning of happiness differently. Broadly speaking, it is the satisfaction you receive from performing a task that provides you immense peace of mind and impetus in life. True happiness is not derived from favorable circumstances only. It is all about maintaining the same degree of joy even in the face of most adverse conditions. The state of wellbeing is a highly subjective and personal issue.
Whatever may be the condition, an individual can be a lot happier when he or she preaches the message of God or motivates others to satisfy their life objectives. Hence, true happiness lies within you. All you need is to locate your natural abilities and qualities and utilize them for that reason. There are certain elements that can assist us in finding true contentment in our lives. Just read to discover the path.
The task of discovering happiness begins with the understanding of your personality and intended purpose in life. Drive all your efforts towards knowing yourself. It would come in handy while steering your energy and resources in the direction of attaining your desired objectives. The major cause of resentment or hostility is when individuals do not know who they are and what they seek to achieve in life. Therefore, take vital clues by observing people with erroneous belief or attitude that takes them further away from true happiness and life goals.
Never fall a prey to apprehension because it destroys your zeal and motivation. Anything that destroys your motivation can create an obstacle to your contentment and ultimately, goals. Never hesitate to utilize your unique qualities given by God. Make your heart the abode to unlimited truth and love.
Avoid negative thoughts and words. You should not allow other pessimistic persons to induce negativism into your life. Overlook their opinions like nothing happened.
It is advisable not to divulge your ambitions or objectives to everyone. Some narrow-minded people may work against you and create impediments on your path without your knowledge. However, it doesn’t mean that you must be tightlipped. You just need to be careful with the plans to your objectives. As a matter of fact, allow your positive actions to speak on behalf of you in the majority of cases and stay down-to-earth.
True happiness results from constant self-reformation. Therefore, always try to improve yourself by adopting new approach and capacity. You can learn meaningful things by interacting with people you meet or dealing with circumstances you confront. Adapt to performing tasks in a better manner whenever necessary.
Meditation can have a consoling effect on your mind, body and soul. So, take some time out of your hectic schedule to meditate and provide yourself something to rejoice. True happiness resides inside you. You just need to adhere to certain principles in your life to bring it outside.

Find happiness - that is what everyone is doing every day. For most of us the definition of happiness is being able to experience a number of positive emotions like joy, affection, contentment, hope, and gratitude.
Based on a Buddhist teaching, happiness is a state of mind. The true source of happiness is in the mind, not in external circumstances. So to find happiness, one has to understand how the mind works and then only one can bring our mind under control to achieve happiness.
To their teaching, what we are experiencing is actually a contaminated happiness, or pleasurable feelings and not true happiness. We are actually “changing suffering”. It is just a temporary thing.
What they mean is what we experience the so-called happiness is actually pleasure due to the relief of our previous pain. For instance, the pleasure we derive from eating is really just a temporary reduction of our hunger. They believe you can find happiness by meditation.
Then there are people who defined happiness as a feeling of “subjective well-being”, meaning that only we can decide if we are happy or not. Interestingly, too happy is also consider as bad thing. We still need some negative emotions. For instance we all need occasional guilt, temporary worry, anger and sadness to help us know what we need to change to improve our lives.
According to Dr. Diener’s book, “Happiness: Unlocking the Mysteries of Psychological Wealth”, there is another important aspect of happiness called life satisfaction. Life satisfaction means doing well in areas that are important to us like relationships, health, work, leisure, spirituality and income.
In his research to find happiness, Dr Ed Diener says there is another factor in happiness that is called “flourishing”. This is the assessment that our lives have meaning and purpose.
Do you know you can feel happier right this minute, regardless of your age or temperament? From an article in Reader’s Digest, psychologist Will Fleeson, PhD, of Wake Forest University, claimed that he has found a surefire way to boost the spirit. Just do something energetic, adventurous, assertive or bold. It can be as simple as singing or dancing to the radio, or laughing out aloud.
But not everyone accept this kind of forced power of positive thinking. Author of “Stop Smiling, Start Kvetching”, Bowdoin College psychologist Barbara Held, PhD, said that not everyone can still strike a pose of sunny optimism in the face of life’s mishaps, and in fact it can do harm.
So, how do you find happiness in your own way?
