Using The Laws Of Attraction To Your Advantage

The laws of attraction has been around for some time. Even so, not everyone is familiar with it. There are also a number of those who are a little aware of what it is but have not been able to benefit from it. This may be because they are only superficially aware of the concept but may not really know how it all works. This, more than ever, is the time to discover the true meaning and power of these laws.

1. What it is

The laws of attraction are what you might call universal laws. This means it applies to every single human being on earth, regardless of location, race and personal circumstance. You can therefore be assured that nothing and no one can discriminate against your benefiting from this law.

In simple terms, these laws states that like attracts like. This however, should be understood beyond physical likeness. The laws of attraction specifically points to similar energies attracting each other. It has been proven by numerous individuals that thinking in a certain way will attract occurrences of a similar nature. Hence, thinking positively can attract positive occurrences and negative thinking will attract negative outcomes. These are known as like energies.

2. How to use it

The laws of attraction entailing more than just thinking positively. A positive frame of mind simply implies a general outlook of the universe. These laws should be applied in a deeper, more specific way. To be able to benefit from these laws, you must clearly know and think of what you want. Other believers in these laws go farther by visualizing what they want in the present tense. This is your way of asking the universe to give you your desire. With your clear vision in mind, you have to act as if you already own it. Once you own what you want, you have to prepare yourself to receive it.

One crucial factor in these laws are your ability to let go of all doubts. Some people wonder why they are not able to benefit from these laws when they have religiously followed the steps to using it. It is important to understand that among many individuals, there are always small grains of doubt. Individuals may be aware of these doubts and simply push them to the back or they may be unconscious of them. Doubts about what you want or your right to receive it will undermine the entire process.

3. Mind Power

For a lot of people, letting go of doubts is never simple or easy. Even the most positive thinkers may occasionally experience moments of uncertainty or may hesitate at the moment when their dreams are about to come true. Believing completely in what you want and in the certainty of receiving it may take some practice for some people. An affirmation is a positive sentence written in present tense, meant to be imprinted in your subconscious mind in repeated use by different techniques.

Here are some examples for self confidence affirmations:

“I wake up every morning confident and full of energy”

There are many different methods a schools of thought regarding how to use affirmations for self esteem, or any subject. I myself have tried many different kinds until I found the one that worked the best for me. There is no right way to do it, but there are some that feel better to each individual.

Here is one of the short methods I use:

Step one: write a list of the things that are bothering you in your life regarding your self esteem.

Step two: write the opposite of the sentences you wrote. If you hate how you look, write down I enjoy looking at my self in the mirror, or something of that sort.

Step three: Set the sentences into present tense as if you already have it.

Step four: Choose the 3 sentences you most want to start working on.

Step five: Clear out 40 minutes every day for practice

Every Day in Every Way You’re Better and Better!

French pharmacist Emile Coue found a way to speed the healing process.

Along with his prescriptions he would enclose a note detailing how the medicines he dispensed would improve patients’ health. He was one of the first people to promote the use of affirmations, a form of self-talk to promote health and personal improvement.

His phrase, “Every day in every way I’m getting better and better” is a very powerful auto-suggestion and it has helped countless people to make progress in their lives.

I’ve used this sentence, and I’ve recommended it in my seminars, audios, and articles. But just today, I decided to modify just one word, which I believe will make the affirmation more effective.

Instead of declaring, “Every day in every way I’m getting better and better,” I suggest dropping the word, “getting.”

Getting implies that you’re on the way to something but you’re not quite there, yet. This isn’t as helpful as stating your affirmation as if you are already where you want to be.

“Every day in every way I’m better and better” says you have arrived at improvement.

Author Shakti Gewain puts it this way in her book, “Creative Visualization”:

“Always phrase affirmations in the present tense, not in the future. It is important to create it as if it already exists. Don’t say, ‘I will get a wonderful new job,’ but rather, ‘I now have a wonderful new job.’ This is not lying to yourself; it is acknowledging the fact that everything is first created on the mental plane, before it can manifest in objective reality.”

By the way, she lists scores of affirmations in her book, and guess which one she offers, first?

Emile Coue’s, but she uses the standard, less optimal version. Try, “Every day in every way I’m better and better” and tell me how it works for you.
