Commitment about Yourself

The one thing we never want to be compromised is our word or an obligation we make. Why is a person’s word or promise so important to be fulfilled? If someone fails to uphold his or her commitment to us, we are devastated and feel betrayed. We never consider the obstacles, which could have hindered them or prevented their completing that promise. We just automatically brand them as a liar and loss all faith and trust in them.

Commitment it is not only of great value to others but it should also be as important when I make it to me. I esteem it as the very basis for the integrity within me. I believe if you can’t trust the truthfulness of my words then how can you possibly trust anything about me? I feel my word is as binding as my signature.

The thing that disappoints and angers me is my failure to be as committed to keeping my promises to myself, as I am to others. I make decisions to do and accomplish things in my heart and mind but those are the first ones to be unfulfilled. I put other people’s desires and other things first and then fail to achieve my own objectives. I justify it by telling myself I can do it later, but later never comes. I procrastinate and say I will accomplish it after the fact, but the time or resources may no longer be available. I always have an excuse but never take the required action.

We should be dedicated to being as truthful to ourselves as we are to others and remember those promises are as binding as well. Considering our needs to be as valuable as those we associate with, will release the anxiety we sometimes feel because we are ignoring ourselves.

Start Living Your Life On Purpose!

What is Passion? passion is something that comes to us when we have learned something. It can also come to us if it is something we wanted to learn. What I have found about myself is the more I learn about something, the more I enjoy it, and so then the more I want to learn about it. I’ve spent a lot of time reading leadership/personal development, public speaking and business books to improve my knowledge and skills as a motivational speaker. A passion can be so strong it will steer every area of your life, home and work and can drive a person to learn more about the area of desired learning. Using a passion in your life can lead to an extremely successful meaningful life. So when you find out what it is you want to do or be then do it on purpose. When we do things on purpose it will be hard for us to get distracted from focusing on where it is we want to go. What we all want to achieve in life takes alot of focus. A few people know already what their passions are, however, many more do not. So, what are some of the ways then to find your passion? First, you need to have some serious time to reflect and its best to do it alone with no distractions. Ask yourself and answer why you want what it is you want. You have to know your why because it will help you stay in the game so to speak. Use a pen and paper and write out all of the major events in your life that you remember to be very positive and life changing. Use those events to inspire you to develop the greatness that is already inside you. This is another way to live your life on purpose. What do you love to do? Some people know the answer at once. Others find themselves completely at a loss maybe it has just been too long since anyone asked them that question. Passion gives us power! When we care passionately about something, then we are prepared to give ourselves wholeheartedly to doing that thing we really care about. Something just happens inside of us that turns the light on inside. We will put in long hours. We will overcome every obstacle. We will simply find a way to get the job done. The reason we will do all of this is for the satisfaction and joy we get when we have the awesome feeling that we are doing what we weremeant to be doing. Doing what you really love does not mean giving up your present life. It just means you found what it is you were created to be and do. You are the president and CEO of you incorporated and you are the only one who can decide where you will go and what you will do. Are you at a place where you feel like you are already too comfortable? If so this is not good for we all should be making progress year after year. Your passion in life won’t let you just sit down and get comfortable. If you really love and enjoy what you are doing, you will eventually master it. You can even pursue your passion as a part-time adventure aside from the profession you have now. You only have to use your talents, gifts, and skills then work hard on them and soon enough, you will amaze everyone that your passion has led you to a more profitable source of income. Start Living your life on purpose today!

8 Steps to Motivate Yourself Anytime and Anywhere

I don’t want to wasting your time with reading unuseful opening content. Here the 8 steps to motivate yourself:

1 step: Visualize the happy scenes. This is very important, when you feel happy, your mood is naturally lifted.

2 step: Break down the task into a series of smaller, doable bite size pieces. Then, you will not be overwhelmed by the task on hand and can focus on one small bite a time.

3 step: When you complete a task on hand, even a relatively small task, reward yourself with something you enjoy.

4 step: Keep a journal on your achievements. With every achievement, your confidence will soar and you will be motivated to achieve more.

5 step: Remember to incorporate fun factor in your day or even in your task. You can arrange a bowling game after work or make the party late for meeting tell a story.

6 step: Form healthy support network. They can be the colleagues whom you work closely with, parents of your child’s friends or your friends. When you need a pep up, they are a good source to turn to.

7 step: Read motivational articles and books. Listen to motivational tapes and CDs. Reach out and fill up your motivational reservoir.

8 step: Keep pictures of people or things that provide strong motivation around you. Have the picture of your dream car on your screen saver. Paste motivational stickers on your desk, your mirror or your fridge door.

Ok, now you have read it, what you need to do is apply it!
