Having goals makes the difference in people’s lives. Without goals, people have hopes and wishes and no plan or drive to make those hopes and wishes come into fruition.

Here’s a powerful simple technique for getting in touch with your goal, and taking the action to make it happen:
Write down your goal in one sentence. Make sure that it’s written positively, and that it’s written in the present tense, as if it’s already happened and you’ve achieved the goal. Lastly ensure that the goal is related to you personally and something in your control. e.g. “I am so happy now that I am driving my new car“.
Next, write all the feelings you’ll experience when you have your goal. What will people be saying to you? What will you be saying to yourself in your mind? What will you be saying to other people? What will be different in your life because of the achievement of this goal – will you have achieved other things on the way to the goal? How will you have changed through achieving this goal? A great metaphor we can use to help us relate to the development of our goal can be found in nature and specifically, our gardens. Next, take a seed, and follow the instructions for its planting and then place it in a suitable place where there is light etc, and where you will see it everyday.
Now, sit quietly and run through the process in your mind, as if it’s a movie of you planting and watering the seed. Think and notice now how this tiny seed could represent the tiny beginnings of your goal.
Seeds and new life, need nurturing through feeding, watering and light to grow. Write down what you need to nurture yourself and your goal to fruition.
Write a plan of how you will ensure that you take the time to give these essential things to yourself. Note how committed to doing this you are. By picking a number from 0-10 that represents your commitment. If it’s less than 10, what could you do to ensure that your commitment is a 10. Commitment is crucial to your seed and goal growing. Look after the seed and plant that represents your goal and watch it grow with the attention, focus and care you give it. If you feel particularly connected to your plant you can even talk to it about your goal and why it’s important to you. You might feel stupid but believe me it works. There’s scientific evidence to suggest that plants grow stronger and faster if you speak to them, and who knows how it could empower your goal!

By the end of the week you will be a change in your own personal energy. Now you can begin to think more about what you would like to manifest in your life. Be clear about your desire and allow the law of attraction to go to work to do wonders in brining about your desires.
To best apply the law of attraction you should be in a state of joy and openness. As you go through your daily activities you may not be aware of it but you do shut down. Everything becomes routine and you easily hold on to old thought patterns.

The question I am asked the most about the law of attraction is how to stay focused on your big dream in spite of all the distractions that life throws your way. People want specific strategies to keep you focused for success. I have found the following 7 tips to be extremely powerful in helping me stay focused. You will too.
1. Have a Big WHY. This is important. Unless you have a strong reason reason ‘why’ you want to manifest something, you will never be using all your energy and putting all your attention on what needs to be done. You will find yourself distracted from the important things. But when your WHY is strong and you are passionate about achieving your dream, you WILL find the strength to face even the most challenging tasks.
2. Write Your Success. Write down your goals and dreams. Spell them out in detail. Be as specific as you can and include every little thing about your dream that you can think of. Putting your dreams down on paper solidifies them in your mind, and transfers your desires to your inner self. Plus, it forces you to think about your dream from angles and perspectives that you might not have thought of before.
3. See Your Success. Visualize yourself having already achieved your dream. In your mind’s eye, see yourself living and loving your new future. But don’t just imagine the thing that you want. Be sure to put yourself into the picture. Don’t just visualize a new car, see yourself actually driving that new car.
4. Affirm Your Success. Reinforce your success by speaking your dreams into reality. Create a powerful set of affirmations that include all of the positive qualities you want to develop in yourself. Use them daily to create those necessary changes that will empower your manifesting ability.
5. Evaluate Your Success. Make sure you are headed in the right direction by pausing and checking the results of your efforts and hard work. Ask yourself some tough questions. “Is my plan working?” “Am I on track?” “What can I do differently to get better results?” Make adjustments in your plans if you need to, but be certain that you are still on track toward your big dream.
6. Take Action Every Day. Action is the only thing on your end of the manifesting process that is moving you forward in the world. Take some kind of action on your dream every single day. The actions you take don’t have to big and time consuming, they can be as small as reading an article or looking up a resource. The important thing is to stay in motion, to keep doing something that relates to your dream.
7. Believe In Your SELF. This is the most important thing that you can do. It is critical for your success. In fact, if you do not believe in your ability to change your life, the law of attraction guarantees that you will be right! But the opposite is also true, if you believe that you have within yourself the power to create change, the power to manifest your desires, then the laws of attraction will open up endless worlds of possibility for you to reach your dreams.

Creative Visualisation Techniques
Creative Visualisation is a technique used to create a picture or movie of an event or situation you desire to become your reality. This technique can be used to create either wealth, health or even the perfect relationship. But it must be done correctly!
Follow the techniques below to get you ready for visualising:
Find yourself a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Five or ten minutes is ideal although the longer you can give it the better.
Relax, either lying down or sitting in a chair, and close your eyes. Roll your eyes upward as far as they can go without straining them.
Begin to breathe in deeply through your nose and breathe out through your mouth and let your body relax. Remember to keep your eyes rolled upward. Continue like this for as long as it takes for your body to become completely relaxed. Having your eyes rolled upward like this will bring you into the “alpha state” more quickly.
Think back to a time, or place, of strong positive emotion. It can be any thought that brings
the feeling of happiness, joy or love. It might be recalling the birth of a child, passing an exam or even a family get together or holiday. So long as when you recall the thought you are left with a positive feeling of either happiness, joy or love.
Recall the emotion you felt. What did you hear? What did you smell? Remember as much as you can, and make that memory and emotion as real and as strong as possible. Make sure it is a positive emotion you recall!
Once you have this memory fixed in your mind and you can feel the happiness, joy or love cursing through your body it is time to connect that emotion to your visualisation.
So you can now begin to run through your creative visualisation. It is particularly important when you use creative visualisation that you see it as being real, in the present moment, as if you already have it.
Whatever you want in the future you have to visualise enjoying right now.
Take the example of wanting a new car.
Now, don’t just picture this car, visualise your hand reaching out and opening the drivers door. Visualise the inside of the car as you slide into the driver’s seat. See you hands on the steering wheel. Smell the newness of the car. Hear the music filling the car as you turn on the cars CD player to take a test drive.
You see now what I mean about detail. The more detail the better.
You are in effect the director of your own movie with you as the star. Do not become just an observer, sitting back and watching yourself in this movie. You are the movie. In other words what you see, hear and smell is the movie.
Personally I have found the latter technique works best for me. I am living the movie, what I experience is the movie.
Visualise the scene at the car showroom when you pick up your new car. Shaking hands with the salesman, opening the car door, sliding into the drivers seat, smelling that new leather, starting the engine, hearing the engine rev up as you press the throttle. Waving goodbye to the salesman and driving off with your new car.
You have to make this experience as real as possible! Really believe that you own this new car. Really feel the strong positive emotions you would feel owning this new car!
When you use creative visualisation this way the strong positive emotions energise your thoughts with such a powerful frequency the Law of Attraction returns those thoughts back to you as reality, far quicker than if you just consciously thought them.
The mind cannot distinguish between what is real and what is not, so if you use creative visualisation with such reality and emotion then your mind cannot believe it is not the real thing.
The more you use Creative Visualisation the quicker things will happen. It is best to visualise on a daily basis! Twice a day if you can. After all you are directing the movie of your new life so why wouldn’t you want to watch this movie as often as possible? But don’t make it a chore, this should be something you enjoy doing.
Collecting pictures of whatever it is you want is also a good way to help this process along. Let’s go back to our example of a new car, once you decide which make and model it is you want, visit your local car showroom and get as many brochures as you can.
Then simply cut out the pictures you like the best and stick them into a scrap book, or even better, stick them onto the fridge door or a cork board so that you can see them every day. Get pictures of what the car looks like from the outside, pictures of the dashboard and steering wheel. Pictures of the seats, the headrests – as much information as you can. This will all help as you visualise sitting in the car.
It should be easy to visualise all of this and turn it into a movie because you cut out all the pictures and studied them so you know what every bit of what the car looks like, inside and out.
Of course it doesn’t have to be a car you visualise, it can be the perfect golf putt, owning the house of your dreams, or even having the perfect relationship with your family.
Whatever it is you want, use creative visualisation to get it. Put in as much detail and emotion as possible so that when you close your eyes to see it you really do believe it.
