Are You a Warrior of Your Life?

Do you find this topic pretty interesting? Is there a need for a Warrior these days? I guess we need to acknowledge that each one of us are warriors. We have so many things we need to fight for to achieve the things we want. We have to fight to turn our dreams into reality.

So what kind of warrior do you want to be? You have all the choice to pick from.

You can be a slacker warrior who does nothing in life by eating, sleeping, doing nothing constructive and wasting the resources of the earth and still bring problems and heartaches to your parents.

A mediocre warrior, who blends in to become part of the herd.  It’s safe and sound to be part of the bigger group. Leading a life of mediocrity where he is just satisfied with having his own family and caring about himself only.  Neglecting his parents and not contributing to the world at large. Happy ever after in his own world.

An enlighten warrior, who knows what he wants to do and fight his life for it. There is only one motto he got, is either you move away or I am going to die for it. He lives the dream life he wants and his family and friends are proud to be around him.

Which would you like to be? It actually depends on each individual. However, those who wish to remain in their comfort zone will choose the one they are already in. Those who are willing to step out of their comfort zone are the ones who are ready to fight with what they have to be who they want to be.

Do bear in mind that, there’s no physical violence involve in this article. It is basically, striving hard for what we want.  First, you need to know where you are now. Second, take an aim to where you want to be. Third, strive hard for it. There is no shortcut to success. It takes time and action to make it possible. Do not try to do too many things at a time. Focus and Act on it.

If you need to do a warrior shout every morning by all means, just don’t wake up the neighbours. Each morning, look through at all the things you would like to carry out for the day and move off to accomplish them with gusto.

What is stopping you now? Nothing Warrior!! March your way to your personal victory in life.

Importance Of Setting Realistic Goals – The Importance of Setting Financial Goals

Importance Of Setting Realistic Goals

Of all the goals you will set for yourself, the importance of setting financial goals cannot be underestimated. Being financially free is probably what most of us strive for. Not only that, most of all the other goals we set for ourselves are either directly or indirectly influenced by the financial goals we set our sights on. Even the aim of getting healthy or fitter needs certain finances put in place. It is very true when it is said money makes the world go round.

Do not be fooled by the misconception of people who cry from the rooftops that money is the root of all evil. This usually comes from people who have nothing, strive for nothing and are basically happy to be poor. They would never dream of setting any goals for themselves and definitely disregard the importance of setting financial goals. The setting of any goal probably does not touch their radar of thinking and they believe it is fanciful to even contemplate it. Importance Of Setting Realistic Goals

It is actually the love of money that is the root of all evil. There is nothing wrong with acquiring wealth and abundance. Without it, we have nothing except the love of our family and friends. While it is best to remember that this love is precious and totally free, everything else is a by product of what wealth we acquire. It is probably true that the best things in life are free, but to experience them, we need to have a financial plan in place.

The beauty of sitting on that tropical beach, enjoying incredible wildlife, watching the joy of happiness on your childrens faces when they go to their favourite places and many other examples cost nothing, but unfortunately to experience them does. It all starts with realising the importance of setting financial goals and the importance they have on our lives. They will effect everything that we plan for and want to pursue.

Put a plan down in place and put it in writing, so you will see it everyday. What do you want to earn in the next twelve months? What savings and investments do you want? Think big, but be realistic. It is no good somebody earning $50,000 a year to say they will be earning one million dollars in the next year. THis is unrealistic! The importance of setting financial goals is the growth it creates. It is like the structure of any building, you start small with a solid foundation and it will grow big and wide. Do What You Love For A Living

A couple of years back, I was unhappy in my job and was searching for a sense of purpose in life. I longed to do something that was more meaningful, fulfilling and rewarding. One day, whilst looking for inspiration online, I discovered some of Wayne Dyer’s audio material. He was talking about living with ‘a sense of purpose, a sense of mission’, and I was very taken with his message that it is possible to do what you love for a living. Over the course of the next year or so, I listened to a lot of his material, and I became convinced that doing what you love and making a living at it was not only possible; to do anythinhg else was an insult to the universe. Hopefully I can convince you of the same with this article.

I have always loved music and I started to play the guitar when I was sixteen. I loved it and soon had a reputation for being the best guitarist in town. I would sit for hours and work out songs on the guitar, something for which I had a real talent. However, I had never really thought about playing the guitar for a living and ended up taking the ‘sensible’ and ‘realisitic’ route into a job that, despite paying well, left me unfulfilled and frustrated. We are often told that our passions are alright ‘as a hobby’ but that they won’t pay the bills and family members are often the worst for doing this. But Wayne Dyer really helped me to undo a lot of this societal brainwashing and I got to thinking about how I could get paid to sit and play the guitar all day instead of working for the man. After a period of reflection, I hit on the idea of making videos to teach the stuff I enjoyed working out so much on the guitar and selling them online.

So, I set to work. It wasn’t easy. I came up against a lot of skepticism and discouragement from family and friends. I didn’t know the first thing about setting up a website and I had no capital whatsover. In fact, I was in quite a lot of debt. Nonetheless, I was determined to succeed and I just started putting one foot in front of the other and finding out how it was all done. I started making the video lessons in my spare time, got a website going all by myself and although I have had a million and one hurdles along the way, the site is now making enough money to live from and I get so much encouragement from my students that I know I am following the right path. Now, I get up when I want and spend the day doing what I love and more money keeps rolling in. If I can do it so can you.

If you really want to do something, then with enough determination, hard-work and persistence, you’re going to make things happen. There is no other way it can be. If you can believe in yourself, even during times when you seem to be getting absolutely nowhere, and keep the dream alive, you will be able to do what you love for a living. If you can ignore the skepticism and discouragement of family and friends who sit around making excuses all day and trying to sully your plans, you are going to succeed. End of story.
