Spirituality is experienced as a source of inspiration or orientation in life. So spiritual aspect of ones life can bring responsibility, a sense of belongingness, compassion and caring for the whole of humanity.
Personal development is about bringing change through training, That includes many different approaches of self-improvement. Personal development in a broader context could include anything that affects personal growth at all levels, meaning physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Exploration of personal growth requires a willingness to look honestly at ourselves and consider how far we want to change and improve.
Pain is one of the great motivator for changing. It might be hard at first to face the reality of our weaknesses, but this ability to Think by self makes our lives happier in the long run.
So How can Spirituality be helpful in Personal development: Yes Spirituality can be the best way for one personal development. As a person progresses on the path of spirituality his priorities in life also change. The focus of life shifts towards personal happiness through mental peace and less on material needs and desires. Recent examples sri sri ravi shankar have shown The art of living very simply they were able to produce the highest quality of thought. This has also been the tradition of great saints. In Bible versus Quran: Ezekiel has never eaten anything unclean
In the Bible, the Lord God suggests an interesting recipe for making bread and to eat it while lying on one side for 390 days.
The Lord God has commanded Ezekiel to bake the bread using human stool for fuel, then God changed it and said, “I will let you bake your bread over cow manure instead of human excrement.
Herein, we have two types of organic fuel for making bread.
Then the Lord God said: “I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days (390) of your siege.”
N.B.: if someone is lying and cannot turn from one side to the other for 390 days, he would eventually have a huge fatal bed sore.
Then the Lord God gives the following orders:
Eat bread during the 390 days you lie on your side
Eat bread that weighs twenty shekels of a day
Drink water by measure, sixth part of a hin, from time to time
Eat a barley cake that is made on human dung
The children of Israel shall eat their defiled (unclean) bread among the nations (Gentiles), where the Lord God will drive them.
N.B.: A hin is a unit of liquid measure used by the ancient Hebrews; it is about five and half liters.
Then Ezekiel said I, Ah Lord Jehovah! Behold, I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything found dead or torn by wild animals. No unclean meat has ever entered my mouth.”
Then the Lord God said, “Very well, Lo, I have given you cow’s dung instead of human dung, and you shall prepare your bread therewith.
Moreover, the Lord God said to Ezekiel, “Son of man, behold, I will cut off the supply of food (bread) in Jerusalem. The people shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and they shall drink water by measure and in dismay. I will do this so that they lack bread and water, and have been astonished one with another, and look at one another in dismay. And have been consumed in their iniquity and rot away because of their sin.

I wonder what the wisdom of these Biblical teachings is.
Why the Lord God love recommends making bread on stool of man or even cow?
On the other hand, there is nothing like that present therein in the Entire Quran.
Also, Ezekiel is not mentioned in the Quran.
Moreover, the Quran recommends eating healthy good lawful food and forbids over-eating (verses 2:172 and 7:31).
The meaning of verse 2:172,
O believer! Eat of the good and healthy things, that are lawful, wherewith Allah has provided you, and give thanks to Allah for it and for what He has made lawful for you, if you really worship Allah.
The meaning of verse 7:31
O Children of Adam! Don your adornment at every place of worship and eat and drink what you want, but do not be excessive, prodigal or wasteful; Allah truly does not love those who are excessive, prodigal or wasteful.

You can if you think you can – Motivational Presentation by Dennis Andrew
One of my favorite topics to speak on is summed up as, “You can if you think you can!” This particular presentation was for a large group of students, and the result was a new energy, a recognized potential. Our actions are simply an end result of our beliefs. Our thoughts play a big role in creating and reflecting our beliefs. This is why I say “You can’t because you think you can’t, but you can if you think you can.” Rather than to speak deeply on the point, I will just touch on it lightly in this article, and will instead include the link to the video presentation.
Our brain only allows us to see what IT is looking for, regardless of what we want to be looking for. This is the job of something called the RETICULAR ACTIVATING SYSTEM(RAS). The reticular activating system is responsible for determining which communication is allowed to pass from the conscious mind to the subconscious, and vise versa. It is our brain’s search engine…and it’s parameters are our beliefs. In short, the reticular activating system either allows us to recognize situations, opportunities, etc that are relevant to our beliefs…or it spits out the irrelevant data, thus not allowing it to come to our conscious recognition.
Beliefs are created by the images you are holding in your mind, and your reticular activating system leads you to places and data that supports those beliefs.
Goals are a point of destination. People with goals succeed, if they do not give up. These are people that determine to reach their goal, no matter what the cost. If you constantly hold a goal in the forefront of your mind by focusing on it, the goal will become part of your beliefs. Your reticular activating system will search out data that will always reflect on the goal…if it is part of your beliefs. So, directly, you can if you THINK you can. And if you determine to reach your goal at all costs, you will believe that you are capable of achieving it. This also means that you can’t if you think you can’t. Largely because you are not committed.

Making A Difference In the BP Oil Spill Clean Up Effort
People all around the country are horrified at what kind of damage the Bp oil spill has caused. The gross neglected of one of the top companies that provides gas to our country has Americans very upset. The spill has happened and there is nothing to do but clean it up. Many people have banned together to help with the BP oil spill clean up but are being told to stay home. Staying home is what the experts say is the way for volunteers to help. This is because the clean up can be dangerous and hazardous to ones health.
They are still recruiting what they consider experienced volunteers to help with the BP oil spill clean up. These are people that are skilled in wildlife observation and tracking. But even people with these skills are more then likely not going to make it to areas that they can actually help in. Bp has people that are employed by them and trained in this type of clean up working to get the oil spill under control. Even those that are trained in this area are still having a hard time. Some workers have been hospitalized.
The clean up has been taking place for over eighty days now. The BP oil spill clean up is harder now because of hurricane season causing the waves to reach heights of fifteen feet and the windiness of the season is not helping either. The oil spill itself is considered America’s worst oil spill ever. Costing over three billion dollars with money going to pay claims made by businesses that have been took over by the spill. It is predicted the amount will rise while cost of clean up efforts are increasing.
Cleaning up the oil spill is a lot harder then expected. The efforts of the individuals involved are making a difference in the Bp oil spill clean up. It is safe to say that for everyone involved including the many people who just see the devastating images of the spill that people just want it to go away. But wanting it to go away is not enough. The clean up is going to be long and hard.
